We take our responsibilities regarding the protection of personal information very seriously. This policy explains how we use personal information that we may obtain about you. By using our Web Site you consent to this use.

When you use services provided on this Web Site you will be asked to provide certain information such as your name, contact details. We will store this information and hold it on computers or otherwise.

All credit/debit cards details and personally identifiable information will not be stored, solved, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.

The Website policies and Terms and conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore the customers are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about the changes on the Website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.

For direct travel business/booking purpose, as set out in detail below.

We need to know the names of all passengers travelling. If you are booking a flight on behalf of someone else, you must obtain their consent to use their personal information. We proceed on the basis that you have obtained this consent.

Information you provide or that is obtained by us will be used by us to enable us to review, develop and improve the services which we offer and provide you and other customers (via mail, email telephone or otherwise) with information about new products and services and special offers we think you will find valuable. To third party organizations involved in credit/debit card authorization.

("the Company") operates a Business-to-Business (B2B) travel technology platform that enables registered travel agents, partners, and corporate clients to access and book travel-related services including flights, hotels, visas, transportation, insurance, and related services.

By accessing or using the platform, users acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Data Privacy Policy.

1. Collection of Personal Data

The Company may collect and process personal data necessary to facilitate travel bookings and related services. This may include, but is not limited to:

Passenger name, date of birth, nationality, and gender

Passport and identification details

Contact information such as email and phone number

Travel itinerary and booking details

Payment transaction details where applicable

Such information may be collected directly from registered B2B partners, agents, or through integrated travel service providers.

The Company shall not be responsible for any misuse or unauthorized submission of personal data by its partners.

5. Data Security

Your privacy matters to Taxida Private Limited (the "Company", "we", "Taxida", or "us").

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes the policies and procedures on the collection, use, disclosure and protection of your information when you use our website located at https://Taxida.in/, or the Taxida mobile application (collectively, "Taxida Platform" or "Taxida App").

The terms "you" and "your" refer to the user of the Taxida Platform. The term "Services" refers to any services offered by Taxida/You whether on the Taxida Platform or otherwise.

Please read this Policy before using the Taxida Platform or submitting any personal information to Taxida. This Policy is a part of and incorporated within, and is to be read along with, the applicable Terms and Conditions based on the user of the Taxida Platform.

By using the Taxida Platform and the Services, you agree and consent to the collection, transfer, use, storage, disclosure and sharing of your information as described and collected by us in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with the Policy, please do not use or access the Taxida Platform.

1. Definitions

Unless otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, the terms capitalized in the Privacy Policy shall have the meaning as provided hereunder:

"Operators" means independent third-party vehicle operators or drivers who wish to offer services on the Taxida Platform to a User.

"Customer" shall mean a person who wishes to receive services of the Operators on the Taxida Platform.

"Device" shall mean computer, mobile or other device used to access the Services.

"Device Identifier" shall mean IP address or other unique identifier for the Device.

"Mobile Application" shall mean application provided by us on the Device to access the Services.

"Promotion" shall mean any contest and other promotions offered by us.

"Protected Information" shall mean such categories of information that could reasonably be used to identify you personally, including your name, e-mail address, and mobile number.

"Third party" shall mean a third party service provider.

2. What Information Do We Collect?

Information You Provide to Us: We may ask you to provide certain Personal Information such as account registration details, contact-us forms, or other interactions. This includes account information (email, name, address, mobile number, gender, date of birth, photograph, login credentials, banking or payment-related information as permitted by law), saved information, verification information (for Vendor Partners or Drivers — location details, profile picture, government-issued identification, license and vehicle documents, KYC), background check information for Drivers and Vendor Partners, and other information you submit when corresponding with Taxida for support, ratings, reviews, or referrals.

Information We Collect As You Access and Use Our Services: transaction information (trip details, pick-up/drop-off addresses, distance travelled, payment transaction information), location data (collected differently for Drivers/Vendor Partners versus Customers), usage information (browser, referring URL, areas of the Services visited, searches), health-related information for Drivers where applicable, device information, SMS/text message data (for OTP and verification purposes only), call details for Vendor Partners/Drivers, and cookies.

Information Third Parties Provide About You: we may supplement information collected through our website, Mobile Application, or Services with outside records from third parties.

Information Collected by Mobile Applications: including your mobile number, preferred language, device manufacturer and model, mobile operating system, browser type, geolocation, and interaction data with the Mobile Application.

3. Use of Information Collected

We use your information to provide and enhance the Services — monitoring feature usage, viewing trip history, rating trips, sending welcome and service-related emails, troubleshooting, diagnosing technical problems, preventing fraud, and connecting Customers with Drivers by sharing relevant Protected Information (such as name, pick-up address, and contact number) needed to complete a ride. We use geo-location information to enable pick-up/drop-off tracking, safety features, and fraud prevention. We do not use the information collected from you for targeted advertising.

4. How and When Do We Disclose Information to Third Parties

We do not sell, share, rent or trade the information we have collected about you, other than as disclosed within this Privacy Policy or at the time you provide your information. Information may be shared: when you agree to receive information from third parties; with third parties providing services on our behalf (including drivers, hosting providers, payment processors, and analytics providers such as Centative Technologies, all bound to the same level of data protection as us); in connection with co-branded services; for contests and promotions; for administrative and legal reasons (compliance with law, protecting rights and safety, fraud prevention); when you knowingly share content publicly; in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, sale of assets); and for market study and other internal business purposes.

5. Third Party Content and Links to Third Party Services

The Services may contain content supplied by third parties, and you may be directed to other sites or applications operated by third parties we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties and encourage you to review their privacy statements before submitting any Protected Information to them.

6. Social Media Features and Widgets

Our Services may include social media features and widgets that may collect your IP address and page-visit data, and may set cookies. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them.

7. Information Collected by Drivers

This Privacy Policy does not cover information about you obtained by the Driver while providing you a ride, or otherwise. If you are a Driver, we may share your name, vehicle number, driving license number, phone number, profile picture, and tracking details with customers to provide them the Services.

8. Change of Information and Cancellation of Account

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you submit to us. You may correct, delete, or amend your information by contacting us via the email address on our website or Mobile Application. We will make good-faith efforts to implement requested changes as soon as reasonably practicable. If we find it difficult to permit continued access to the Services due to insufficient or inaccurate information, we may terminate your access with written notice to your registered email.

9. Data Retention and Deletion Policy

Data Retention: We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Data Deletion: Taxida provides a "Delete" button under the user profile section of the app. Once you opt to delete your account, personal data associated with your account (email, mobile number, name) is immediately deleted from active databases. Data may remain briefly in backup systems due to technical constraints but is not retrievable in ordinary operations and is permanently deleted per backup deletion schedules. Some data may be retained where legal obligations require it, stored securely and inaccessible for any purpose other than legal compliance.

Exercising Your Right to Deletion: log into your account on the Taxida app, navigate to the user profile section, click "Delete", and follow the prompts to confirm. This process is irreversible and your account cannot be restored once deleted.

10. Security

The Protected Information and Usage Information we collect is securely stored, using standard, industry-wide, commercially reasonable security practices such as encryption, firewalls, and SSL. No security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of our databases or of information transmitted to us over the Internet or wireless communication. We recommend that you not disclose your password to anyone.

11. Grievance Officer

Taxida hereby appoints the Taxida Support Manager as the grievance officer for the purposes of the rules drafted under the Information Technology Act, 2000, who may be contacted at info@taxida.in. You may address any grievances regarding this privacy policy or usage of your Protected Information to the grievance officer.

12. Changes to the Privacy Policy

From time to time, we may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our information practices. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting of the revised Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a notice on the Services prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.
